I made this font for a teacher. It came up in conversation that I design fonts, and she asked if I could make one for her. She explained that she makes writing activities with boxes for her students to fill in with letters, and a font would make it a lot easier than drawing boxes. So I agreed to make this, and it was easy. I put it together in about five minutes and emailed it to her, and all was well. Then I didn't do anything with it, and it sat on my hard drive for a few years. I just came across it again and decided to put it here. I've added boxes for more characters and some basic punctuation.

It's really easy to use. Just type something and it will show empty boxes of the appropriate size. I basically ignored diacritics, though I counted lowercase i as a tall letter since the dot is arguably part of the letter and not a diacritic (except in Turkish).
