Traditional Art / Paintings / Abstract

This was painted in oils while listening to Heaven and Hell by Vangelis. This is the first in a series that reflects the same dichotomy expressed in said music.
There's nothing special about the title, of course. I had nothing better, so I just used "Colors" for the whole series.

These are pretty lively, especially considering the colors you used are kind of dark. What sort of brushes did you use?

I think I lost a little saturation in the scan, too. I used mostly large brushes, ranging primarily from 6 to 10, especially the 10, which is a flat. I may have used some smaller brushes, mostly round, but I don't remember. I just laid out about 9 different brushes and picked up whichever the music inspired me to use.
