This in a font for the Gothic language that I just threw together yesterday. I found this [link] Gothic font made by kohath [link] , which is nice, but I wanted something with a little more variation in stroke thickness, or whatever it was that made that font seem odd. I tried once before, starting with Roman capitals, but extended the ascenders beyond the em square, producing something that wouldn't have the right proportions if I scaled it down to the right size. So I decided to use lower-case proportions. To that end, I based this font on Century, especially on the lower-case Cyrillic. I did borrow some of the shapes, and even entire letters (this is legal in the US), but I think I put enough work into it to make it truly original.
By the way, this font has basically the same mapping as the one linked above. Text should work just as well in either. Sorry I can't do Unicode. FontLab only does Plane 0. This font also does not have Roman. I suggest Century or Century Schoolbook (same style) if you need to mix scripts.
And I feel I should point out that the laudatory statement in the preview about Wulfia is not a strike at Gaswalt (the font mentioned above). It's borrowed from this site [link] Thanks to David Salo for that one.
Edit: Thanks for 1000 views!

Ulfila was weiha jah gudja in thaim gutam. Is qath du im thata waurd guths.
Wulfila was holy and a priest among the Goths. He said to them the word of God.
i'm gonna try it out!
thanks for sharing!
Kinda need it urgently! thanks
OMFG!
I made up a bunch of characters, A-Z, never made a font out of them though!
What program do you use to make fonts?
You should try it. I used FontLab for this one, but Font Creator Program is popular with beginners. That's what I used when I was just starting.
If you want to check it, here's my new font i just uploaded on dA : sweeep.ttf [link]
