I made this wallpaper a while ago, and I haven't had a use for it. I originally overlaid the shapes, the grid, and the gradient over the standard blue aqua background that comes with Mac OS. I thought that the grid made it look like a touch screen--it made me want to touch it, anyway. So, I tried removing the aqua background and using a simpler color scheme that would fit the feeling even more, and this is that I got. I don't remember exactly why I called it Luminosity... I think that's the blending method I used for the layer with the shapes. If I ever get around to modifying a Mac into a tablet PC like I want to (or if I just buy one, I guess) I'll probably use this background.

By the way, this wallpaper is 1024 x 768 and was made entirely in Illustrator. If anyone wants this in a different format or at a different resolution, I'd be glad to make it.

I've never used Illustrator before... (Well, I played with a very primative version when I was like 4 years old....)

I must aquire a copy of illustrator somehow and figure out how to use it...

Thanks. I like Illustrator a lot, mainly for the power that comes with vector-based art -- I could easilyproduce a different version of this desktop at any size I want without losing any detail.
